Dr. Marc Estafanous, MD

Dr. Marc F. G. Estafanous is a board certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal specialist. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Estafanous graduated with honors with a degree in Mathematics and Psychology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed his residency training in ophthalmology at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He completed his fellowship subspecialty training in vitreo-retinal disorders at the Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Estafanous enjoys tennis, skiing, comedy and Broadway shows and is currently obtaining his masters degree in artificial intelligence at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Ankur Mehra, MD

Dr. Ankur Mehra is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced subspecialty training in vitreo-retinal diseases and intraocular lens cases. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, cutting-edge care for patients with a wide range of retinal conditions.

Dr. Mehra earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, followed by a Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. He then obtained his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky, where he built a strong foundation in comprehensive eye care.

Pursuing his passion for retinal disease, Dr. Mehra completed a prestigious fellowship at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He further refined his expertise through an advanced vitreo-retinal fellowship jointly sponsored by Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals, and the Cleveland VA Medical Center.

With a commitment to excellence in patient care and the latest advancements in retinal treatment, Dr. Mehra brings both skill and empathy to every patient interaction.

Outside of work, Dr. Mehra enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. He also enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.

Dr. Suber Szu-Pai Huang, MD, MBA, FASRS

A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Huang completed residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute/Johns Hopkins and a vitreoretinal fellowship at Bascom Palmer. He holds an Executive MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management and has additional training at Harvard and Wharton.  

Dr. Huang is the former President of the American Society of Retina Specialists and previously served as Vice-Chair and endowed professor at Case Western Reserve University, where he also founded the Retina Diseases Image Analysis Reading Center. He has led or participated in numerous groundbreaking clinical trials in gene therapy, stem cell therapy, surgical innovation, and visual prosthetics.

Dr. Huang is also the founder/editor of the Future Vision Foundation, the Future Vision Forum, the ASRS Retina Image Bank, and the ASRS Retina Atlas. He serves on multiple national and international boards, including the Foundation Fighting Blindness, Retina Global, and the Cleveland Sight Center.
His recognitions include induction into the Retina Hall of Fame, multiple national and international awards, and honors celebrating his leadership, innovation, and commitment to patient care. He has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus of the John Hopkins University School of Medicine Wilmer Eye Institute.
